"We recently found ourselves in an unfortunate situation. We had a major influent station that had three pumps in it, two of which had reached the end of their life. When we reached out to the Original manufacturer, we were told that they would not be able to supply that pump housing or any parts to these pumps and it would require us to change to their newer pump style, which would also require us to change our drive lines. On top of this, were given a 16-24-week lead time, which just wasn’t acceptable in our current situation. We had used ABBA for a few smaller items recently. A large diameter and a small diameter front head, some wear rings, and a couple of impellers. So far, we have been impressed with the turnaround times and quality of their work. After they made a site visit and assured us they would be able to build us a direct fit pump that would require zero modifications on our end, we decided to give them a try. They quoted us a 6-8-week lead time and at a much more reasonable price point. The rotating assembly was delivered on time and for the price quoted without incident. We installed it within a day, as we were in dire need of a relief pump at this point. The pump bolted right up and the shaft was perfect, requiring zero extra effort to get it back into service. A month later, the pump is running in the lead position and with zero issues. We would not hesitate to order a custom fabricated pump or parts from ABBA in the future and look forward to working with them again."
